They say that falling in love is hard on the knees
Personally, I think that falling in love has more of a toll on your heart
It seems that girls are every guy’s kryptonite
That one girl can bring the strongest of men
Crippling to the ground, falling on his knees
With one swift glance
A single girl
Can make a guy’s head start spinning
There is no feeling like being in love
Nothing to relate it to
The only way to know how it feels
Is to experience it
But my question is how
How can one girl make a heart flutter
Make palms sweat
Make a guy start breathing heavily
It is something about all women
God certainly took more time to create women
With their almost super human abilities
Becoming any straight man’s kryptonite
Although we all show t Superman façade
Women will always be our kryptonite
They bring out the best and the worst in us
Women make us do some of the craziest
And possibly stupidest things of our life
Falling head over heals
Girls
My Kryptonite

This Experience Called Life
I was blinded by the light
The light which I see in front of me
The light that just does not seem
To want to let me be
I am pondering my choices
And I am question beliefs
And there is something about me
That just seems to bug
I look at myself in the mirror
And I am not sure what I see
What I was, who I am, or what I am gonna be
My future is a clean slate
I can do with it as I please
I beg the Lord
I’m on my knees
And everything goes blank
How am I to survive
If I have trouble just looking myself in the eye
I don't know where I am supposed to look in this world
My friends are there for me
Of this I am not sure
Most of the time I just seem alone
That everyone just walks right through me
"Cellophane, Mr. Cellophane, Shoulda been my name, Mr. Cellophane, Cause you can look right through my, Walk right by me, And never know Im there"
The story of my life
Im known only by association
Never by communication
My skills are weak
But my heart stays strong
And everything I've ever thought
just seems to all go wrong
But now Ill come full circle
With this poem that poorly rhymes
The life I knew, the things I do
Maybe Im just killing time
Im not taking chances
Not making any stupid mistakes
Im not risking things and making the best
My brains always running full speed
I should be doing stupid things
And fill my life with stories
When I have kids and tell them things
Will I end up regretting this experience called Life?
The light which I see in front of me
The light that just does not seem
To want to let me be
I am pondering my choices
And I am question beliefs
And there is something about me
That just seems to bug

There's Something To Be Said For The World
I wear my heart on my sleeve just because that’s who I am
I don’t try to impress, just live by reflex
Live each day how I wanna
And if that makes you hate then Im gonna
Take it to the next level
And bring you up to mine
And I'll most certainly find the time
To show you what its like
Looking down on the world and seeing the beauty
All the beauty that is around us day in and day out
And I certainly have no doubt
That I can show you what I see in the world
Because the beauty that I see
Is the beauty most don’t
I see the trees in the breeze and I can hear the music
Listen to the grass sway
As your walking on your way
And when you look up
And you see the birds fly above
And the majestic flight they take
As they look down and see you walking
You don’t really notice but they’re talking
They think your just as unfamiliar as the bird is to you
Now look into the eyes of an infant
So innocent and pure
There is something about that twinkle
That just makes you wanna smile
And their smile is contagious
And your head is pure amazement
About the simplicity of their smile
That something so small
Could bring such joy
And all they really want is some love and care
Now you look to the pet that’s been abused year after year
And the rope tied around their neck
Is the only thing that holding them back
And that day when the dog
Escapes from that sort of chain and finds paradise
And can start a new life
Full of love and joy and a simple bone here and there
And there is something to be said for a family that binds
That they can argue and fight but when times get rough
They are able to stand by each other
And know that there is love
They realize the truth or family:
You don’t have to like your family, But you have to love them
And the love between a family
Is one that can never be broken
There is something to be said about the beauty you can see
If you just take the time to look
I don’t try to impress, just live by reflex
Live each day how I wanna
And if that makes you hate then Im gonna
Take it to the next level
And bring you up to mine

And the love between a family
Is one that can never be broken
There is something to be said about the beauty you can see
If you just take the time to look
Plain and simple
If my head was spinning would you help me up
If I was dying of thirst would I need to beg to fill my cup?
What if I needed someone close I could talk to
Would you believe me if I said that all I wanted is you?
What if my heart told you exactly how it felt
Would you be angry or mad just because I withheld
Let my eyes say it all
You know id just wait for your call
It would be the highlight of my day
Just to hear you say
That you felt the same way
But if your gonna lift me up
Be sure to bring me down slowly
Because from the heights that Ive been
I don't know how Id survive the fall
If I was dying of thirst would I need to beg to fill my cup?
What if I needed someone close I could talk to
Would you believe me if I said that all I wanted is you?
What if my heart told you exactly how it felt
Would you be angry or mad just because I withheld

My Passion
In my life it gives me a great deal of pride to perform on stage. Being able to look out into the spotlight and know that people are watching me. The stage is my canvas and my words are my paintbrush. I could never write a play, nor a musical, never even think about asking me to write a symphony. But in a heartbeat I would act out a play, sing a song in a musical and I could write you a song or write you a story like no other, those are things I am good at or can actually do. I have over a hundred pages of writing. I love writing. I love writing essays, stories, songs, poems and I could just write for hours, in fact I have before. Last year I took a creative writing course, and that teacher pushed me to improve my writing. She pushed me outside of my comfort zone and made me an even better writer. Writing is my passion, what's yours?

Out in the Cold
Look into my eyes and what do you see
Do you see someone that isnt me
What if i closed my eyes to blink
Tell me then, what would you think
If i asked you for coffee would you say yes
What would you say if i asked you to dance
Would i still be the same person that you first met
If you saw this and knew would you tell me so
Or would you just ignore it and leave me out in the cold?
Do you see someone that isnt me
What if i closed my eyes to blink
Tell me then, what would you think
If i asked you for coffee would you say yes
What would you say if i asked you to dance
Would i still be the same person that you first met
If you saw this and knew would you tell me so
Or would you just ignore it and leave me out in the cold?
